CMAT is a computer based objective type multiple choice exam which has to be completed within the time duration of 180 minutes. The Exam consists of 4 sections, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. The total number of questions to be answered is 100 and the total marks are 400. Each section has 25 questions. The marking scheme of the exam is +4 for each correct answer and -1 for each wrong answer. There are 4 options for each question among which the test takers have to choose only 1 correct option.
